Breathwork is a powerful, dynamic technique that connects us to our bodies, encourages the release of stuck energy and negative emotions, opens our hearts, connects us to our intuition and embodied wisdom, and shifts chronic illness and physical discomfort.  It allows for a pause of the thinking mind and accelerates healing by saturating the body with both oxygen and life force.  As all of our cells are invigorated, we can release negative thoughts, perceived limitations, traumas or any uncomfortable bodily sensations or holding patterns.

Why try this powerful technique?
Most of us don’t breathe fully or consciously, so our cells do not get the full support we need to thrive in a healthy balanced state.  We hold our breath, breathe shallowly and consequently create much stress and tension in the body.  When we start to breathe fully and consciously, we are easily able to release what we have been holding and open to an incredible expansion of consciousness, including greater surrender, forgiveness, and self-love. This inner change in turn begins to shift our dynamics with others, improving relationships, family connections, work, and personal satisfaction.

What should I expect?
A typical session lasts about 90 minutes and includes an introduction, conversation about intentions, active breathing, and integration time at the end.  Clients often leave feeling calm, clear, and grounded in their individual purpose as well as in the larger meaning of life.  There are a wide variety of physical sensations and emotional experiences that you might experience such as tingling, vibration, and physical releases, as well as emotional releases.

How does it work?
Breathwork is an easy, active guided meditation that relaxes the mind and opens the door to many other levels of our being. As oxygen floods the body. the wise and intuitive parts of us take over and we can make conscious shifts towards intentionally manifesting what we desire.  We can more easily release old programs, patterns and stuck energies (like anger, grief or fear) -- or anything else that may be holding us back. The breath allows us to reach deeper states of consciousness and raise our vibration.
Breath opens the energy channels in the body and allows what we have been holding inside to surface and be released, such as suppressed emotions, physical blocks in the body, old beliefs and identifications, past memories, fight/flight/freeze patterns, and addictions. Clients are coached through the process and gain a deep level of insight and actually feel their patterns shifting and transforming at a deep cellular level.
